The food here is incredible, it's very fresh and they do their own take on things. Cocktails here are absolutely wonderful and the bartender is so pleasant. This is our second year post Black Friday parade at the bar and we just love it. This place is an exceptional tribute to Estes Park I highly recommend coming here.
This is the best restaurant in Estes Park by far! German food, dog friendly and always great service! If you request to sit in the lounge you can bring your pups indoors to eat with you, always a great thing in Estes Park. I had the German Jägerschnitzel which was absolutely to die for! I haven't found better German food in the state so far!
Cute outdoor and 2nd floor seating in downtown Estes. It was steady but not too busy on a Friday night. We were pleased at the portion sizes and quality of the elk bolognese and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The caesar salad and French onion soup were good also! A bit spendy but on par with the other restaurants in Estes with better quality and portion sizes.
Elk Burger and Trout were really good! Definitely would recommend getting an order of the fries Server was really helpful as well.
The food! OMG. Two of us had salmon, two had the Jager schnitzel. The truffle fries are ridiculously good. Maybe the best I've ever had. Asparagus was excellent. Cleaned our plates. Great service, super friendly and helpful. The cranberry Brie, outstanding. Get on the F train!
The ambiance from the outside dining area is priceless. Slightly hidden off the busy E Elkhorn Ave, it's a romantic getaway for a relaxing dining experience. The inside dining area is nice but geared more towards a 55+ demographic. Service was excellent and all the beautiful people that work here are extremely friendly with a high end quality of service. The food was good, enjoyed an elk burger and a refreshing margarita.
I ordered the Colorado Kolsch and the elk burger. Everything was really delicious!! Get the aioli on the side it is heavenly!! Also this place is great for larger groups and service was excellent!
